looks like sonic the hedgehog and resembles a pineapple.

I dub him: Badana
not quite banana, not quite Dan...all retarded.

Ladies and gentlemen I bid thee goodnight.

*whispers* Lacie geled his hair with uber fruity/girly smelling wax gel stuff that gravitates throughout my whole room. LIFE=AWESOME

Ugly Betty is probably the only show that makes me melt and literally squeal like a fangirl...
I love EVERY character on the show!
Daniel and Betty....*le sigh*
I am being such a girly girl right now!!
...Watching Ugly Betty at this hour is brutal for me, I am bouncing ^o^ Yay fandom!

So today was Kiki's party. Madagascar 2 was pretty funny, I enjoyed myself immensly.
Douchebag is home. It's nice to have him around. We chatted for a bit yesterday and Tio Yito, Andy and I (along with Mirek) had 3 shots of Vodka each for his birthday....I think he's 52...but umm...not sure. HA
FYI : Family drinking = hella fun!
Saw my cousins Sasha and Andrea today, chilled with Tio Yito!

Captain Kei Kei visited me these past few days. Once with Beth, once sans elle. It was nice to see him. I think I kinda made him feel bad for not letting me know he's been alive this past month. I hope we can chill more often.
People have been over in my room non stop since le strike.

I got to visit Paula for a random photoshoot thing....IN A CANDY STORE! aaaah! with Lacie. Tutti Frutti on Queen St, makes my life complete. Paula was kind enough to buy me a Hello Kitty marshmallow lollipop and some pixie sticks. I owe her money, luckily I'm seeing her on Thursday :D so the debt is le done!

And and and! As a bonus! This coming Sunday (as in the 16th) I have the priviledge and honour to watch Dir En Grey in concert with Ioana! I am most excited...I just hope there is no self mutilation on stage...that is a little too extreme for my tastes...I can't wait!! aaaah!

DIR EN GREY! though I admit...their soft, non screamo appeals to me a lot more than their crazy batshit insanity but STILL!! AAH!
I would love to see The GazettE if they EVER made it to Canada!

Mummy left for Peru. I asked her for long leather gloves for the winter, among other things...like tea ^o^

Peace, love and chocolate chip cookie dough!

So York is on Strike.

S T R I K E !

This is amazing!

I get a break which is both awesome and amazing...and incredible. I am ecstatic!

....Er....a break....to do homework, essays, reading...absolutely no fun whatsoever...yeah...

Which brings to sweet, neglected nostalgia.

Yesterday I played the Game of Life with Julia, Dan, Sebastian, Ioana and I. The last time I had played that game was when I was in Grade 9 with Alex, Tascha, Andrew and Chelle. I remember Alex and her same-sex marriage sex van. It was awesome! I won and kicked everyone's ass (last night) because I had the most money (2 million) and retired on the millionaires estate...thing! I enjoyed it so much. I was a cop who made 90,000/year :D

When we found out about the strike, Lacie, Ioana, and I listened to 90's tunes and dance for an hour with my disoball on. It rocked. I kid you not. Then We all stayed up...the whole night (I'm running on less than 3 hours of sleep in two days -_-) We were joined by Candace and Kimberly (who, truth be told, I must hang out with them more often, they are AWESOME) and we watched animaniacs, tiny toons, and youtube vids (because I'm such a YouTube whore!)

We watched Dane Cook's Vicious circle till about 7am. I love Candace's laugh. It seriously makes my life ^o^

Then everyone except Sebastian left (we were approaching our...3rd wind I believe) and we chilled till the house meeting at 2.

I went swimming on Tuesday! My arms still ache. But it feels awesome! Not going to lie.

Today is a most special day. On this day, 8 years ago, I had the priviledge and honour to have a sister willed into existence by mah parentals. Kiki has seriously changed my life since I was 13. I love her to pieces.
She is coming over today, I asked Lacie to buy a small chocolate cake ^o^ I hope she has fun. We're going to play DDR. W00t! I have to clean my room though. Seriously, after my shower that is :P It was squeaky clean last night, but when you have 10 people in a room in one night, then cleanliness is but a legend!

So, new animes? Kuroshitsuji. Highly recommended. Very hot...and classics? Err...Wallflower (which is not a classic but still hella awesome!)

I am looking forward to getting my homework done this week-end to just relax.
THANK DA LAWD!

Off to shower! Yoink!

Peace, love and chocolate chip cookie dough!

"Turn to the person on your right and say something dirty...." D-I-R-T!

Nov. 3rd, 2008 | 01:03 am
mood: devious devious
music: Nine Inch Nails - Dead Souls (Crow Soundtrack)

Nanashi,

Since Thursday, this week-end has been awesome! On Wednesday, I had my meeting with my job peeps, got my first paycheck!, and played some rock band! I managed to solve a problem with a student in my Wednesday class...so hopefully it will all work out in the end :D. I love my boss, and everyone. They are amazing. Lavin, Dean, Eloi, DJ, and Theresa. Lavin, Dean and Eloi are hella aesthetically pleasing, not going to lie. Chilling with them is most cool!

We have another meeting at the end of the month, then a Christmas gathering...I honestly hope I'm not in Cuba around the time they decide to do it.

...Yes I am going to Cuba for a week. With mah maajah. Something about a medical summit she wants to go to...and for some beach loving yo'!

Thursday! I managed to see Paula, Tascha and Tom. We were supposed to go to this huge U of T party but it was packed so we ended up going to the Velvet Underground instead. It was a lot of fun! Paula and I ended up with the same concept for costume ideas: as in Masquerade. We were oh so sexay! I ended up spending the night because I missed the last subway. It was a good excuse though, McDonalds and Paula's company siultaneously? Quite awesome...I also missed class T_T Oh gods! I better smarten up in that aspect! I was too tired and hadn't done the readings so it was a waste. I'm not repeating that for a while though.

I am highly looking forward to Repo! The Genetic Opera which comes out within the next few weeks, along with seeing Jamie in Montreal for Twilight! Aaah! So excited~!

Friday I took les sibs trick-or-treating. Janny Bunny was dressed up as a ninja and Kiki was a Ladybug fairy. Dude my genius instantly created her costume from my dress!

*takes a bow*

This week is Kiki's birthday! OMG she turns 8! Aaaah! Where the hell did Time go?! We're celebrating it in Famous Players, they're watching Madagascar 2..should be fuuny ^o^

I pretty much babysat les sibs this weekend while the parentals took a road trip to Ottawa and New Brunswick. Good crack, I know.

At least les sibs et moi managed to chill!

I also had an appointment with the head of French studies, you know, the woman who slammed the door in my face last year? Well she was most nice...I dressed up for the occasion, so I don't doubt that it had something to do with that...We discussed potential ideas for me to go on exchange and get equivalent credits so I am not le screwed ^o^ We'll see what the master plan is for the summer...once we're there.

Today we ate Chinese food. I was in no position to cook because I was feeling like absolute crap..I'm sick (the heating turned off last night) so this morning I woke up with a killer headache and throat pain. Not cool. Drugs, in cases of extreme OMG-I'm-dying pain are wonderful. I feel better now...I blame the medicinal qualities found in Wonton Soup!

Tomorrow...er...today! I'm back in Res! Woot!

I also have to complete an online quiz.exam thing before 10pm tomorrow or else I'm really screwed. Luckily I have notes and all that jazz!

True Blood and Dexter are kick ass! I swear I am ecstatic that these two series air one after the other. Sundays are absolutely worth it! Plus watching them with Uncle Yito, who also shares the same tastes as I do, makes it even better!

Now I'm debating whether to watch: Brimstone, The Incredible Hulk (with Edward Norton), some random Anime, or even read...

Only time will tell!

Peace, love, and chocolate chip cookie dough!

Butterflies...Comme mon tatouage

Oct. 27th, 2008 | 01:33 am
mood: nervous nervous
music: Muse - Knights Of Cydonia

Nanashi

I've been thinking back to this weekend. The fun, the surprise and everything. My room arrangement, Halloween Haunt at Wonderland, watching movies with Sebastian and playing family feud along with jeopardy.

Lacie was the biggest scaredy cat in the universe. Dan was cool and a total hateful individual (I tell him I hate him, he doesn't believe me...never ending battle :D), Sarah was a sweetheart and Sebastian was just funny. We went on two rides, the haunted houses were most creative.

I can't wait for Hallowe'en...I still need to come up with a costume though...Aah! I'm thinking Vampire...how that will get pulled off is beyond me...

I had honestly forgotten what it was like to not be a hermit. I also played ITG with Gamoz last week.

I have butterflies that haven't gone away! Thinking about it is amazing! I must definitely let myself have more fun ^o^

I wish I could forget school, and just chill....HA! how impossible that is!

York food is now making me ill. Like to the point where I have no hunger while I'm there. I think it's a sign...which means that next year I'll probably live with my uncle Yito...if all goes well. I like Mississauga.

Oh! and the days of me procrastinating on getting my driver's licence are now over. I must get mine by January, if I'm to commute between Mississauga and home next year. It sounds like a lovely change, not going to lie.

Home cooked meals! No more evil Wendy's that makes me sick!

I must get started on the project that is hella late. It's the first time I've procrastinated something past the deadline. Not a nice feeling. I just need solitude and motivation. With that, then my world is complete. I must also practice piano this week. My not practicing is making the class less fun than it already is...especially after that dreaded test last week. It was brutal.

Janny Bunny is sleeping with me tonight because he claims his room gives him nightmares. He's a cutie.

So True Blood and Dexter? are my life. They are seriously the best shows. Ever.

Today was my lovely, favourite family member in the world: my tio Yito's birthday! He turned 32. We had a nice dinner with my Mom's two other siblings: Catono and Pupy. It was awesome! We had ribs and anticuchos (what Alex and I ate in Barranco while we were in Peru) along with a cinnamon bun. He is the greatest individual. Ever.

Tomorrow is work, which is going great by the way. I've never had more fun teach little kids karate. It is the best thing ever. They are cute and eager to learn ^o^

I'm taking the kids trick-or-treating because the parentals are going to New Brunswick this weekend. So no Hallowe'en fun clubbing adventure for me *sniff* I'm thinking of going out during the week though...hmm we'll see.

I'm plotting and planning an 8-week summer exchange to Dijon. I have to get it approved by the director of French Studies (who, apparently, is a bitch) this Thursday. If I can get linguistics, and oral french along with a few other courses counted for...the world would be a better place, and that would mean that I would be ahead and able to take more awesome classes in 4th year. I hope to get accepted into the TESOL program :D

Asides from me being a total unmotivated dumbass...Life...has definitely gotten better!

Not much longer till I see Jamie in Montreal!!!

Peace, love and chocolate chip cookie dough!

So Ugly Betty completely took me by surprise! Holy crap surprise, mystery, a helluva lot of drama and just plain awesomeness. I can't hate any of the characters on the show! They're all incredible! From Wilhemina to Stewart...OH MY GAWD! and Alexis! I cannot believe it!!!

I'm having a sleep over with Lacie, she is asleep and dead to the world.

Also, watching this at this hour without being able to squeal is deadly...and terrible!

I dropped Linguistics. I have an entire world off my shoulders right now....I feel so much better! Not To metion, Thursdays just got lighter!

I have salsa class today! yaaaaaaay!!!

Nanashi

So I handed project of doom on Friday and managed to enjoy a lovely gobble gobble turkey dinner with the family. Even Douchebag came down from Ottawa with the wife (...er girlfriend) and his friend. It was awesome to have a full house! Kiki and Jan were more excited than ever.

Today I pretty much skipped linguistics again *sigh* At this rate, and adding up my total distaste for this class, I may just have to drop it... T_T

I also voted for the first time...EVER Yaaaaay! Democracy at its' best, though I highly doubt the vote will make a difference. My duty as a Canadian citizen has been completed! I has the most fun. The voting people ladies were so entertained by my Silly Buttons' (that's be mah friend Nessa) and my energy (we were sooo sugar high, it was ridonkulous!

Also, this year my TV viewing list has not failed me (except for House but whatever)
La Liste of Doom! Warnings, contains some spoilers :P )

I still has Oral French Comm to catch up on...I think I'll start it at 2...am!^o^ Go procrastination Then I can submit it in the evil MLC tomorrow! Yeah Lala.

I still has to decide whether or not I should drop the hell out of French Ling....Aaaaaaaaaaah!

music: Dee Lite - Groove Is In The Heart

Nanashi

GAH!

Lala is tired.

Still awake.

Working on project due at 12:30...pm beetches!

FUCK procrastination....hard....and not in the good way. I should be more diligent and hard-working *bangs head against the wall*

MY ass is numb from sitting down for so long...

*sigh*

At least all I have left is one more page...then I have to embark on a quest for someone to print it out for me...seeing as my damn printer decided to die of some unknown disease....10 pages...I hope I can find someone, or else I'm royally le fucked...

That's French for screwed.

GAH!

Once this is handed in, I'm planning on completing the damn quiz and making my way to the MLC to catch on my oral french assignments...

At least I'm working!

Karl is coming over today. I'm probably going to be dead to the world. (Dead tired that is)

Pros: The assignment was easy...just tedious...and somewhat pointless....but in essence, that is what university is all about o_O
I'm getting it done on time!

I had a dream where I was chasing a masseuse. I woke up with some neck pain...and back.

Translation: I need a bubble bath...and a nice massage T_T I hate feeling sore...

Yay for Turkey day weekend! I'm catching up on my readings/music theory on Monday. I'm relaxing this weekend.

Screw Academia ^o^

Badenture!

Oct. 9th, 2008 | 05:00 am
mood: sleepy sleepy
music: None, eyelids heavy and keyboard tapping...mmm

Nanashi

I am awake.

Which should not come as a surprise to any of you, seeing as I never sleep anymore.

I went on a random badenture.

With Alice.

MY life was made complete.

I wore heels, in the rain!

I had a daiquiri and a smirnoff ice, topped with awesome food at Zelda's and a DK (drag king) show. Wow, they were sooooo hot, it was ridonkulous. The music was awesome as was the ambiance. Highly recommended for anyone who has the chance~! It was at Crews and Tangos. I also saw the gay red light district in Toronto. It was most shocking.

All in all, yesterday was a lot of fun...It seems though much to my depressed dismay (T_T) that I shan't be able to attend Paula's planned schindig on account of my parentals wanting me to come home to meet le b-unit. I am sad but I know I will see her in other occasions. I heart you woman!

I has to catch up on homework or death and ultimate failure will befall me...*le sigh*

Gooo Jewish holidays! They make my life. I think we should start a petition going to get Ramadan off too....Hmm *ponders*

Need Sleep, must do work today.

Oh yeah, and Captain Kei Kei called me...sans Beth! I was so shocked and amazed. Talking to him really made my night. It was nice to hear from him :) I think we're going out for food/chilling later today. I hope it goes through!

Need sleep!

Good morning to all~!

Turkey Day is this weekend! Mmm cognac laden turkey...I highly look forward to it! REAL FOOD!!!!

Need sleep!

music: Lola - Superbus

Nanashi

Finally! My revelation, the famous click I was anticipating, happened! TODAY! This morning! The world is a better place for all!!

Now I'm taking a nap, I'm running on 4 hours of sleep.

The world is back to its normal shift again.

*sigh* I was honestly contemplating being over and done with school for good.

Good thing I saw the error of my ways. I only have 1 year and a bit to go! *does happy dance*

Mood swings (along with enlightenment) are awesome!

Higly recommend anything by Superbus (especially Lola and Butterfly) Their songs kick ass.

The End

Lacking...

mood: blah blah
music: Orquesta La 33 - La Pantera Mambo (aka Pink Panther Salsa style!)

Nanashi

Lacking in motivation so early on in the year cannot be good overall.

I have never experienced such a distaste for schoolwork as I have this year....

...Topped with procrastination and red flags are going up everywhere within the depths of Lala's brain.

I must force myself to complete all my tasks!

*bangs head against the wall*

The cure?

I haven't found the "click" yet...You know, the famous revelation: to get into the rhythm of things...I'm still working on it

Le job is tomorrow. I am most excited. I have to catch up on readings and work....especially piano, since I haven't practiced...at all :P

I think Le job is pretty much the only thing I have going for me at this point. Along with salsa lessons and swimming.

That...and going to Ottawa/Montreal on the 21st or so.

Secret Diary of a Call Girl is amazing. I really enjoy reading the blog and watching the series. The perspective overall really is amazing.

Tomorrow (er...today) I actually have to get off my ass and start working or I'm really le fucked.

...and not in the good way either :P (or so they say) I leave that to interpretation beetches.

I need to go on a badenture!

....soon or I fear I will go absolutely insane!

Lala got rid of her drama llamas which makes life a helluva lot more bearable, not to mention nice!

I went swimming, plus salsa lessons today. I feel very healthy on Thursdays. It brings a smile to my face.

On the plus side, I think I can get my act together and focus on school. So that means no more "strikes". Tomorrow I'm going to catch up on all that needs to be handed in. I'm pretty proud.

I just sneezed...

I'm also CPR certified for the next three years. I has my little card and everything. It was fun.

Lala started her job! It has to be the best job in the entire universe! The kids are the most adorable things...Ever (besides my little Kiki and Janny Bunny of course)

Needless to say, I'm off to join a 90's party which makes my day to no return!

Snippet!!

Sep. 30th, 2008 | 04:53 pm
music: Voltaire - Lovesong

Nanashi

Academia is tiring. There are classes I wish I could drop, but unfortunately I will be screwed in ten different unplesant ways if I do so.

People on res are tiring me. I had to go as far as put a sign on my door telling people to F#$K off. It is very unlike me.

I also dislike two-faced people. People who don't have enough balls nor courage to tell the people that they dislike their pet peeves. I find it rude and insulting.

I am academically tired.

Two more years to go.

Thank god for home, even though it's drama filled, I enjoy it. The drama is different from that of school.

Also, thank York for Jewish holidays. Me not having class till Thursday?

Score!

Not to mention Yom Kippur and Thanksgiving. October rules. I think York should celebrate Ramadan too, you know just to show cultural awareness :P

Homework assignments and tests are total suckage.

French Linguistics really really sucks. I might as well memorize the entire book because I'm sure as hell not learning anything in class. An utter waste of my life...the stupid test was on the most insignificant material from the chapters...it's stupid!

Queer night was awesome. I got to see JaiJai, Pearl, Gamo and Vanni. I drank a sex on the beach. Life was good.

I'm taking Salsa lessons every Thursday after class. It's fun ^o^

Work starts this week. I'm excited. I'm almost CPR certified! Thank God work marks the end of my social life. This Thursday though I am chilling with Pearl and Captain Kei Kei, he invited us to Halloween Haunt at Wonderland. Drama free people make me most excited. I have enough on my plate as it is.

Voltaire (the musician() is my current addiction. He is hot. As are Vampires. I read the first book by Charlaine Harris that inspired the series True Blood. It was worth it. Not to mention a quick read. ^o^

School....

Sep. 15th, 2008 | 12:40 am
mood: Chic
music: Klute - Hell Hath No Fury

Nanashi

So I believe that this year I was most fortuitous in my selection of classes and schedules. I am FREE (that's right beetches, FREE) on Wednesdays and Mondays!

PARTY TYME!

*dances*

So in order:
Voici mes Classes...beetches! )

I went to Yorkdale for a few games of DDR with !ohpan and Pearl after my class on Friday. We encouraged Pearl to skip, which I feel a little guitly for now...but seeing her and chilling with her was most fun. !ohpan treated me because he is so awesome and amazing! (I promised Bubble tea in return!) Seeing him made me realyl miss the arcade and seeing everyone hella often in first year.

Yesterday I went to Ottawa! To visit douchebag! He was doing most well (though a little sick due to terrible allergies) Nevertheless, we got to met the land lord/lady who had lived in Orangeville! They were so nice and had the most beautiful garden I had ever seen! Their little fluffball of a puppy was soo cute too! I believe we went to a restaurant called Monkey Joe's...or something like that. I didn't get to see Parliament or anything. I'm saving that for next time though! We drove 4 hours to see Andy for 2 and drove back. If that is not love, then I don't know what the hell is...I did get to eat amazing ribs and wings though....Douchebag's treat, so it was all worth it. Suprisingly, Kiki and Janny Bunny were so good during the drives. They slept most of the way and played "I spy" and "Red car". They were certainly more behaved than Andy and I when we went on long badentures requiring long drives....*sigh*

The evil rain started up again...a lot...Thank-you Hurricane Ike...*le sigh*

I am not looking forward to winter...at all...

Oh yeah! Also for my awesome and amazing job of doom, I am working on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Tomorrow (er...today) there is a demo class I must attend to get a feel of what the classes feel like. Then I think we're off on a badenture to Ikea (I think) followed by me returing to Res (to start on Piano Theory and readings)

This year is going to be VERY busy. I am most looking forward to it!

I wanna go clubbing! I like dancing, which is unfortunately, what most of my York Posse does not agree with....most frustrating. I wonder why within my group of friends it's the exact opposite of what I like to do sometimes...

Example:
Lala doesn't mind drinking------>drinking is a serious no-no...it is poisonous and EVUL
Clubbing--------------------->automatic "whore" assumption, though my friends aren't completely against it, they don't do it often...if at all.
The one thing I dislike about the York Posse is all the clique-y ness that goes on...I do not care what so and so did and why. Honestly, if it doesn't apply to me then RAWR.
Nevertheless I keep quiet. I think I'll talk to Riri about going to Club Menage one Wednesday for wayback playbacks!

There is also my I-don't-know-when London trip extravaganza with Alex. Which brightens me up significantly!

Random: Seigi no Mikata: Very very very funny J-drama. It can be watched on www.crunchyroll.com I have not laughed that hard in quite a long time!
Random II: Butterfly by Superbus! Great song, chic, French and cool! highly recommended!

Peace, love and chocolate chip cookie dough!

Party + Lala = Nay, Bitch, Nay

Sep. 2nd, 2008 | 02:52 am
mood: tired tired
music: Michael Bublé - Lost

Nanashi

So Frosh week is over. My birthday was spent downtown, with Frosh, being all mother hen. I'm not going to lie it was fun and I bought myself some manga and a hella big lollipop. I went to Niagara Falls yesterday and played ITG with Barry. Went to Jaya's Pagent on Saturday (it was so rigged, Jaya deserved to win...that Irish guy was hot) and saw Benji, I mean what the hell are the chances of that?!

I am now twenty-one.

Let me repeat that for emphasis... Lala is twenty-ONE.

Two decades...plus one.

I feel useless. *sticks tongue out* I haven't done anything life changing, or anything amazing, like Rafael Nadal...I'm so ordinary.

For ONCE in my life...ONCE...I wanted to party. Like actually party and not be the mother hen/worry-wart/retarded wall flower of some sort. Have fun, mingle...be all "university student" like.

After we came back from the Boat Cruise (which was pretty fun, I wore a pretty dress) my fractuallyiends (and fellow frosh bosses) Lacie, Leora, and Pearl decided to go to the Frosh boss party which involved all the bosses, drinking and celebrating. The location of this schindig was The Village.

Which translates to outside York University (on a slim technicality).

Unchartered, sketchy territory.

So off we ventured walking. We decided to go to Pearl's house because she needed to drop something off and change. As we approached her house there was this SUV with two sketchy guys in said vehicle, giving us "the looks"

Y'know, the "I-want-to-tap-something-because-I'm-high/drunk/fucked up" type of looks.

So we ignore it and continue the treck. Well it turns out that these guys were special so they follow us and park right in front of Pearl's house. They exit said vehicle, one was wearing a leather jacket and the other was wearing very very baggy pants exposing his boxers, and approach us. They were walking weird so we figured (later) that they were on something. They came up to us and were (technically) verbally assaulting us with their "hey baby-s, where ya goin?". Boxer dude decided to grab his crotch and jiggle his thing as he spoke (according to Lacie) I had not noticed. Pearl was shoo-ing them away...when Brittany came along.

Leora, Pearl and Brittany had/live in floor 13...which is my floor.

She was happy drunk and ran over waving and yelling like the awesome person she is. This distracted them and they walked away. We couldn't get in (to Pearl's house) without Brittany because Pearl did not have the key. Nevertheless she arrived, opened the door and that was that.

...Or so we thought.

They drove a block down the street and got out of the car and went in their house, then came out with three more guys totally-ing five (according to the others, I only saw 4) We saw them from the house in which Leora decided to call campus security.

This is where the technicality I mentioned about the Village comes in. Leora explains the situation to them and five minutes later, they tell her that The Village (which is in York territory) is "off-campus" so they cannot assist us and that if a problem persisted, we were to call the Police.

Since they were still lurking not far, Leora thought it was best to call the Police, much to most people's dismay (I thought it was a good idea as well). Again, she explains the situation and, since all of us refused to leave the house with "them" outside, we waited for them to come. Not long after officers J. Casey and officer number two arrived. Pearl, Lacie and Leora approached the car and explained the situation. The cops dealt with it, getting their names and giving them a warning. Then they assured us that they were losers. After a bit of light conversation which eased tension, Cody (another person who lives with Pearl and Brittany) asks us how we're getting home and then the cops offer to take us back to Vanier.

I rode in a cop car folks. With hot cops. Hence the reason why I remembered one cop's name but not the other. (I realize that I am a terrible person :P)

We never did make it to the party.

Which goes to prove that I am just not meant to have a "Typical" university experience party thing.

I must add that I am most frustrated with myself. I didn't take initiative to do anything, I was pathetic. Lacie was scared shitless and conjuring up worst case scenarios left and right (which was frustrating). She told the cops she didn't drink and I just followed....I AM PATHETIC. ARGHASDGKNHSYTLEWHERWKFB SAKDV ! (try translating that beetches!)

She was a nervous wreck. I was fine, not scared or anything. I was/am frustrated with myself.

I also want someone to give me a REAL tight hug. I feel guilty and I know that I have done nothing wrong. I need a REAL BIG cuddly hug. A loooooooooong cuddly hug.

Alas, that is not happening.

There is also a female frosh who's attention I've caught and she has been hitting on me throughout the week. If I was promiscuous/bi-sexual/remotely interested I would be most flatted but I am not. Ergo I find it odd, especially since (also according to Lacie) she was checking me out during the boat cruise while I danced.

I am not used to attention. At all.I am also tired, it has been a long day.

School starts on Wednesday. I am more calm this year, which is awesome.

What a way to bring in the new school year.

Peace, love and chocolate chip cookie dough!

I'm chilling with Alex.

On Monday I went to Toronto with Alex. We ended up going on a Random trip to The ROM. We saw dinosaurs. It was amazing. We also ate Korean BBQ.

Who is currently talking to Karl. (On le phone de tele = telephone)

Having a shitload of fun. Which is awesome!

Europe was amazing...with ups and downs as can be expected.

I love train rides. In first class....and the scenery.

Baden-baden was sooo pretty during the day.

The Swiss Alps were breathtaking. The train went THROUGH them.

Shopping in Europe was amazing. I bought corsets, and pants. It was l'awesome. I also purchased a dress...and a venetian mask...sooo pretty.

Hot men in Europe *drool* There was fabric boy...at the fabric store....really hot.

Carine and Rene were exactly the same. Le petite monstre (no longer petiter) has grown sooo much! she is now 12. I also saw Noemie, and Pauline. They're so ridiculously pretty. Carine is blonde!

Milan was awesome, we went to this uber fancy restaurant that puts all others to shame. It was a forerm bank. My mom sat on a couch....A COUCH, food was uber tasty.

Venice was pretty...too many tourists though.

Paris was Paris, nothing new, or exciting. Too many tourists. I had the opportunity to chill with Celine and her friend. It was fun.

Ferrari baby was sent to Acer to be repaired. I has a new screen. It's be le pretty. Still white-ish thingies.

I saw Journey to the Centre of the Earth and the Mummy 3 twice. Amusing, though not the best. There were Kung Fu Yeti's...and burning asses. There were also Zombies vs. Terra Cotta Warriors. Not kidding.

Cut my hair. It's be short. I likes it. It doesn't take forever to style!

Today we went bowling with the kids. It was Andy's treat, we also went to the arcade and played PIU - pump it up. Waay fun. Won almost 984 tickets. Bought candy. Met Andy's Girl Toy's Sister Paige. She is le pretty.

I am in possession of a Ferrari lanyard. Uber amazing. I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate it into my Ferrari baby.

I purchased all 4 books in the "Twilight" series. It's a guilty pleasure. Edward is glittery. Bella has her retarded moments. Twilight was the best book....all the other ones were okay. It rekindled my love for reading again. I also purchased an indigo membership to motivate me to purchase more books....and make my library bigger. I bought books 2 and 3 of the Discworld series.

Grey's Anatomy ruins my life. Thank god Alex is emotional. It helps. It is certainly an amazing series. McDreamy, McVet, Denny, McSteamy and Burke are hooooooot.

Animaniacs makes my life complete. Seriously.

I don't think les plans for a birthday jamboree will pull through, I move-in on the 21st....then it's Frosh Week...and on top of my job training (I have to send an e-mail to my boss asking him for the dates...*le sigh*) So this will be the first year I don't celebrate or do anything. It's a nice change ^o^. Entering 21 in a chic, drama free way ^o^

My room is getting uncomfortably hot for some reason. I'm assuming it's because I'm sitting on a llama blanket. Cross legged. With ze laptop...on my lap.

I might go chill with Barry on Saturday. I hope those plans go through....and apparently Karl and Tascha are coming over on the 20th before I leave. Should be fun.

Peace, love and chocolate chip cookie dough!

Today...

Jul. 21st, 2008 | 02:56 am
mood: gloomy at first....content at the end
music: Emilie Simon - Il Pleut (funny because it's been raining ALL day)

Nanashi

It seems that everytime I've tried to post something has kept me from doing so. Nevertheless here I am!

*takes breath*

I am going to France today...I'll be at the airport in 11 hours from now...(approximately)

I am scared shitless.

SHITLESS..OH MY GOD...

That is the simple truth...There is a million things that are going through my mind right now, that I think I'm slowly going crazy. It has been three years.

THREE years...

What will they think of me? Will they laugh a little in their usual way at my accent? At how I've "grown" (weight wise I'm so so conscious right now, it drives me up the wall) Especially since yesterday. I was in Square One with my Tio Yito and I saw my cousins Benji and Tabatha with their mom...what's the first thing "tia" Chabela says to me after hello?

"Uuuy Laura como has subido de peso!"

Translation: Oooh Laura how you have gained weight!.

My tio Yito (being the awesome person that he is) tries to cover for me saying that I haven't with a laugh. But she insists.

"Pero si! Haz subido de peso!"

Tio Yito: No, esta bien (she's okay)

Chabela: Es "voluptua" *laughs* (she's "voluptuous")

I feel like shit...

There are days where I really wonder about my family...it's almost as they're expecting and anticipating my ultimate fail somehow.

Will they

I mean it's bad enough I am retardedly self-conscious about my image and this certainly did not help. There are a million things I could easily blame (stupid rain not letting me swim or run, too much "bouncing" while playing DDR, too much computer time..etc) but ultimately it's my fault.

Will they truly be happy to see me? Carine is on vacation, Denis hasn't responded to my e-mails (which brings me to assume that he is probably still on vacation with his family) but Rene is going to be home...

WHY DO I CARE SO MUCH WHAT THEY THINK OF ME?!?!!?!? ARGH! especially when it comes to image...I should so be over this crap right now *RAWR*

I know ultimately everything will go awesome and I'll more than likely have an incredibly amazing time with my mom and everything. It's just taking that first step that's always been the hardest.

*Le sigh*

There are a gazillion other things running through my mind at this point but it's hard to sort through all of them...and besides, I'm definitely not one for drama.

In other more happy news:

I watched The Dark Knight....yesterday

Best. Movie. Ever. EVER EVER EVER!

Christian Bale and the entire cast were absolutely brilliant. Heath Ledger's performance was mind blowing, it was incredible and amazing and left me speechless. His twitches, head movements and persona he created...was amazing.

I went walking to the park at 4 in the morning...Sunday morning. I got soaked. I danced in the rain, on the street. It was really pouring. It was the best feeling in the world. It was nice to see a quiet Brampton. Also to have some time to Lala. (aka Muah)

I also bought sunglasses...my kind of sunglasses after all this time. Just before the trip too, it's awesome.

Went to Mongolian Grill and Pacific Mall today. I bought the Ghibli Movie Collection, some random movies for the p-units, Grey's Anatomy Season 3 (to spare bandwith by downloading it) and a helluva lot of pocky. Tio Yito and I also got soaked today...it was not tranquil at all ^o^
I
had an awesome time with Tio Yito.

Friday I went shopping with Kiki and Jamie. We bought her a beautiful new blue dress which she loves to pieces. And flip flops. It was the first time I've taken her shopping. She seemed to enjoy herself. I bought myself two trenchcoats for 10 bucks each! They are most pretty!

I also got my pin-up girl swimsuit! It has cherries on it! and and and it's a one-piece!

Andy's birthday was fun, I made him a cake at 5 in the morning...it was awesome. Though the stupid stupid icing took 20 minutes to make...it was exhausting.

I'm downloading Animaniacs!

....and Emilie Simon is made of awesome!...No lie

I should sleep, but sleep before travelling has never really been my thing...EVER. I might read...perhaps :P

Or ONE more episode of Grey's Anatomy....damnit! that series is SO addictive!

Peace, love and chocolate chip cookie dough!

Jun. 28th, 2008 | 02:42 am
mood: dorky dorky
music: Rachmaninoff - Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor 1st movement

Nanashi

Yesterday was my Orientation thing for my job and I was astounded at how cool and amazing my "bosses" were and everyone who was hired. It was amazing! We had some icebreakers, played Rock Band (which they had randomly decided to buy because we had told them it was fun) The BBQ and food were amazing! I was sooo shocked!

The best part (to me) was that they were all UBER MEGA PSYCHO NICE! (I feel bad because I can only remember about two or three names *bangs head on desk*)

And and and ! Random! they're leaving for Peru on Monday! how amazing is that? One of them (he was Polish) was asking me about cool places to visit so I gave him tips..I wonder if he'll remember. *shrugs*
He had also gone skydiving....*sniff* I wish to do that one day.

I felt bad though because Mirek called Ryan to find out what time to pick me up instead of my cell *sigh* Psha!

I'm getting my G1...next week...

....*insert screams of horror here*

Seriously though, even though I would love to wait until I turned...oh...25 before I drive (or die of the black plague..whichever came first), it was embarrassing to have been practically the only one who was picked up. I probably looked so childish. Never fear though! *strikes super hero pose* By next year, driving...will be part of my life.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *dies*

TOPIC CHANGE! *BAM*

I think this is the first time I have ever been uber mega excited for a job. I get to work with Kids! (whom, to those that know me, I LOVE LOVE LOVE kids to pieces) and teach Karate! (something that I have always enjoyed!...except when my 'sensei' would make me do push ups on my knuckles in the parking lot...*grumbles*)

Mix them together and what have you got : AN AMAZING JOB ! yayyyyy kids!

I was actually sure that I did not "pass" the interview. Why you ask? Well Ryan (one of the owners of the company so so nice and awesome) asked me :

"What makes you an suitable candidate for this job?" (or something along those lines

....I blanked. Completely

I did not know what to say...I felt so bad because I felt as if I was selling myself to make myself more appealing, even though what I said was pretty much was what was on my resume. Aaaah...I need to get over such foolish (and lame) thoughts.

On another random note of doom: I WENT SWIMMING!!!!! woooooooohoo! Finally! sunny days + warm pool = happy Lala

Why you ask?

EXCERCISE!! and Sun! and Tanning! (but excercise is definitely above them all)
Why you ask?
Not to mention Fun fun fun fun!
I hope the weather continues like this!

I finished watching the 1934 version of The Count of Monte Cristo. I enjoyed it for what it was (I'm sure whatever I found funny in the movie was not necessairly funny back then) especially since there was such a lack of double entendres which we have today...

Allow me to elaborate:

Count: Tell me my dear boy, How was Paris? Is it as gay as they say? With wine, women and song?
Butler: Oh yes Sir, VERY GAY *butler winks*

They gave it a Hollywood ending which was cute, but I didn't feel as much emotion as I did with the book. I mean, Edmund Dantes has so much passion for his revenge and especially his relationship with Mercedes. One thing I noticed was that the music did not reflect the mood of some scenes (as in it was too uppity)

I'm still on chapter 6 of the book in French (I am most looking forward to the more recent 2004 version which I have never seen in its entirety and as for the anime adaption...I'm on episode 12.

GANKUTSUOU IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGLY AWESOME AND BLEEDS GLITTER!! The mood, the music (they played Rachmaninoff!!!!) and the portrayal of Dantes as a Vampire....*faints* Not to mention the amazing animation and background!

Obsessed? Muah?! ALWAYS!

Anywho, this Sunday is Le Pride avec my parental-motherly-unit (aka: p-unit) and then on Wednesday Paula, Tascha and Karl are coming over. I hope all goes well.

And and and it turns out that we are going to Italy!! Woooohoooo!!!!

Peace, love and chocolate chip cookie dough!
MUAH
